The Central Selection Board of Constables (CSBC) in Bihar has announced the release of admit cards for the Physical Efficiency Test (PET), a key phase in the large-scale recruitment of constables across the state. The PET will evaluate candidates on endurance, running ability, and physical strength, forming an essential part of the final selection process.
Thousands of applicants are expected to participate in the recruitment exercise, which is being closely followed due to the state’s rising youth population and demand for stable government jobs. The recruitment aims to strengthen police force numbers and improve law-and-order capabilities across districts.
Officials have advised candidates to verify exam dates carefully, keep documents ready and adhere to instructions printed on the admit cards. Additional guidelines related to reporting times, medical conditions and safety measures have also been issued.
The state government has highlighted the recruitment as part of a broader effort to modernise policing, increase manpower and improve public safety. Training academies across Bihar have already begun preparations for handling the influx of recruits once selections conclude. The process is expected to enhance policing efficiency and reduce response times across high-traffic and vulnerable regions.
