Jay Prakash Narayan International Airport in Patna witnessed a significant rise in passenger traffic as travel demand increased across domestic routes.

Airport officials said higher footfall was recorded on flights connecting Patna with major cities such as Delhi, Mumbai and Bengaluru. The increase is attributed to business travel, academic movement and seasonal migration.

Authorities have implemented additional security checks and streamlined boarding procedures to manage the rush efficiently. Airlines have also adjusted schedules to accommodate higher demand.

Officials noted that infrastructure upgrades and improved connectivity have contributed to the airport’s growing importance in the region’s transportation network.
