New Delhi, August 24, 2026: India's National Security Adviser Ajit Doval has arrived in Beijing ahead of the 25th round of Special Representatives' talks between India and China.

The crucial discussions are scheduled for August 25 and are expected to focus on the long-standing boundary dispute and maintaining peace and stability along the Line of Actual Control.

Doval is expected to meet Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi during the talks. The meeting comes at a time when both countries are attempting to improve diplomatic engagement following years of tensions along the border.

The discussions are also significant ahead of the upcoming BRICS summit in New Delhi, where Chinese President Xi Jinping is expected to participate.

Both sides will be closely watching the talks for signs of progress on border-related issues and broader India-China relations.
