Bihar’s Munger city recorded the lowest Air Quality Index (AQI) in India at 29, placing it among the cleanest cities in the country.

Other cities in Bihar, including Rajgir and Kishanganj, also reported good air quality levels. Experts attributed the improvement to favourable weather conditions such as rainfall and strong winds.

In contrast, Patna recorded moderate air quality but showed improvement compared to previous days.

Officials said the development highlights the impact of environmental conditions and pollution control measures on air quality.
