Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar congratulated and felicitated young cricketer Vaibhav Suryavanshi on Saturday, 14 February 2026, in recognition of his exceptional performance in the recently concluded Under-19 World Cup, where he helped India clinch the title with outstanding displays throughout the tournament.
At an event held in the state capital, Nitish Kumar praised Suryavanshi’s dedication, discipline and contributions to India’s triumph on the global stage. The Chief Minister presented the young champion with a citation and a cash award, and appealed to youth across the state to draw inspiration from his achievement.
