Security in Patna has been significantly strengthened for the oath-taking event at Gandhi Maidan. At dawn, barricades were erected, roadsweepers cleared vehicular checkpoints and supplementary forces were deployed to manage crowd flows. Specialized units including bomb-disposal squads, drone surveillance and sniffer dogs have been stationed at strategic points. Entry is being regulated through metal detectors, identity checks and managed queues. Command-centres have been activated to coordinate between police, traffic control and emergency services. Public advisories have requested attendees to carry valid ID, avoid restricted items and arrive early to facilitate screening. Hospitals near the venue have been placed on heightened alert. The comprehensive approach aims to ensure the event’s scale does not compromise public safety or mobility in the city.
