The Bihar Health Department has announced the recruitment of 4,500 Community Health Officers (CHO). The application process will commence from May 5, and eligible candidates can apply through the official website: shs.bihar.gov.in.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Must possess a B.Sc. Nursing degree.

  • Should have a Certificate in Community Health (CCH).

  • Registration with the Indian Nursing Council or State Nursing Council is mandatory.

 

Age Limit:

  • Minimum age is 21 years.

  • Age relaxation is applicable for reserved category candidates as per government norms.

 

Salary:

  • Selected candidates will receive a monthly salary of ₹40,000.
