Singer-composer Palash Muchhal has initiated a ₹10 crore defamation lawsuit against social media influencer Vidnyan Mane, asserting that false allegations made by Mane have caused serious harm to his reputation and personal life. The legal action was filed today in a Mumbai civil court, where Muchhal’s legal team argued that unfounded claims circulating online about his conduct crossed the line into malicious defamation. Representatives for Muchhal emphasised that while public figures may face criticism, false allegations that impugn personal character without substantiation are unacceptable and subject to legal consequences.
