A high-impact poster featuring Nitish Kumar with the slogan “Tiger Abhi Zinda Hain” was displayed outside the Janata Dal (United) (JDU) headquarters in Patna, signalling a confident stance ahead of the state’s election result.
The poster, which surfaced on November 13, portrays Kumar as the enduring leader of diverse social groups—Dalits, Mahadalits, backward communities, upper castes and minorities and echoes the party’s assertion of his continued relevance in Bihar politics.
While the ruling alliance is preparing for the result declaration, the opposition bloc has reacted sharply to the poster, interpreting it as a show of overconfidence and a sign of internal unease within the ruling camp.
Political observers note that the timing and tone of the message serve both as a morale-booster for party workers and as a signal to opponents that the JDU intends to retain its leadership role regardless of the outcome. With vote-counting scheduled for the next day, this poster has added a layer of spectacle to the charged atmosphere in Bihar.
