India strongly criticized US Vice President JD Vance's remarks on H-1B visa hiring, dismissing his claims as completely baseless.
The Ministry of External Affairs stated, "While this creates opportunities for Indians, it also helps American companies access top talent, innovation, research, productivity, competitiveness, and job creation, while boosting shareholder wealth in the US."
Notably, JD Vance had referred to foreigners working in American companies as "bonded laborers." Vance also identified the American company Microsoft as the largest employer of foreign bonded labor.
