Jamui, Bihar | September 21, 2026: Three people have been arrested in Bihar’s Jamui after a disturbing video showing two Class 10 students being allegedly harassed by a group of youths surfaced on social media. According to police and media reports, the two students—a boy and a girl, both minors—had attended coaching classes before travelling on a scooter in the Jamui area. While returning, they were allegedly stopped by a group of people on the road.
A video that later circulated widely on social media purportedly shows the students being surrounded and harassed. The footage also appears to show the girl being subjected to inappropriate physical contact while the boy attempts to intervene and help her escape. (NDTV)

Jamui Superintendent of Police Vishwajit Dayal said police became aware of the incident after the video came to their attention. Investigators traced the two students and recorded their statements before registering an FIR.
