Patna Turns Into a Creative Hub as Photo Expo and Runway Week Bring Talent Together
Patna, October 31, 2026: Patna is witnessing a growing wave of creative activity as photographers, content creators, designers, models and fashion students come together for the Bihar Photo Video Expo and Patna Runway Week at Gyan Bhavan.
The two events began on Friday and will continue till November 1, bringing together professionals and emerging talent from Bihar and neighbouring states.
A platform for photographers and creators
The eighth edition of the Bihar Photo Video Expo is focused on helping photographers explore new equipment, connect with major brands and build professional networks.
The expo features equipment used in modern photography and filmmaking, including cameras, lenses, lights, gimbals, cranes, batteries and memory cards. Organisers say the event is also aimed at bringing more structure to Bihar’s photography industry.
With the wedding season approaching, the expo is also offering deals on cameras and accessories. Content creators and influencers can attend master classes and explore new technology for their work.
Senior wedding photographer Raju Sultania is scheduled to attend, while Anoop Guha, Canon India’s first maestro, is conducting master classes. The expo has been organised by the Bihar Photographers Association and Expo Revolution.
Fashion takes centre stage
Running alongside the photography expo is Patna Runway Week, a three-day fashion event designed to provide a platform for emerging models, designers and fashion students.

Patna’s creative economy is growing
The significance of these events goes beyond fashion and photography. They bring together people working in photography, fashion, digital content, design and related creative industries.
The previous edition of the photo expo reportedly attracted around 30,000 visitors, while organisers expect photographers from across Bihar as well as Jharkhand, Varanasi, Kolkata and Nepal this year.
For Patna’s growing community of photographers, influencers, designers and content creators, events like these provide opportunities to discover new technology, meet industry professionals and showcase their work.
As Patna continues to develop as an urban centre, its creative sector is becoming an increasingly visible part of the city’s identity.
The takeaway: Patna is not just consuming creative content — its photographers, designers, models and creators are increasingly building a creative ecosystem of their own.
