The Bihar Cricket Association (BCA) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) worth ₹498 crore with a commercial construction management firm to build a world-class International Cricket Complex (ICC) in Patna. The project aims to significantly enhance cricket infrastructure in the state.
Under the agreement, the complex will be developed over 25 – 30 acres and feature international-standard facilities. According to officials, the plan includes:

A main stadium meeting international specifications.

A modern pavilion and media centre.

Indoor training facilities and practice pitches.

Residential quarters for up to 300 players.

Multiple pitches (around 12 – 16) to support training, fitness programmes, and match preparation.
BCA President Harsh Vardhan said the complex reflects a long-term vision for cricket in Bihar and will help the state host major tournaments in the future. Secretary Ziaul Arfeen added that the facility will nurture local talent by providing high-quality training and match preparation infrastructure within Bihar itself.
The agreement with Sivanssh Infrastructure Development Pvt Ltd (SIDPL), the construction firm involved, was signed during a press conference in Patna. The development is expected to be carried out in phases under the MoU.
This announcement comes amid broader efforts to improve sports facilities in Bihar, including redevelopment plans for other major stadiums in the state.
