Weather conditions across Bihar are expected to remain unstable, with the India Meteorological Department forecasting rainfall, thunderstorms and lightning in several districts of the state. Authorities have advised residents and farmers to remain cautious as changing weather patterns could affect agricultural activities.

According to the latest forecast, thunderstorms accompanied by gusty winds and light to moderate rainfall may occur in multiple districts, including Patna and other major cities. Wind speeds during storms could reach 30–50 km per hour, which may damage standing crops and trees in some areas.

Meteorological officials said the change in weather is linked to atmospheric systems affecting eastern India, leading to cloudy skies and periodic showers. The forecast indicates that scattered rainfall activity could continue in parts of Bihar over the next few days, with occasional lightning and strong winds.

Farmers have been advised to avoid field work during thunderstorms and to secure harvested crops to prevent damage. Residents are also urged to stay indoors during lightning and strong winds to minimise risks.
