In a shocking incident, unidentified miscreants carried out a bomb attack at the residence of the Vice Chancellor of Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar Bihar University (BRABU), creating panic in the area.

According to officials, the attack took place late at night when two individuals on a scooter reached the gate of the Vice Chancellor’s residence and hurled a crude bomb (sutli bomb) before fleeing the scene. The explosion caused chaos but no casualties were reported.

The incident is particularly alarming as the residence is located directly opposite a police station, raising serious questions about security arrangements and response time. Eyewitness accounts and CCTV footage suggest that the attackers executed the act swiftly and escaped before police could intervene.

Following the attack, the Vice Chancellor reportedly received death threats, intensifying concerns about the motive behind the incident. Preliminary investigations indicate that the attack may be linked to internal disputes, administrative tensions, or conflicts over contracts within the university system.
