India and China held a fresh round of strategic dialogue on Tuesday, with senior diplomats from both sides discussing bilateral relations, regional developments and global issues of mutual concern.

The talks were led by Chinese Executive Vice Foreign Minister Ma Zhaoxu and India’s Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri. Officials said discussions were frank and covered border management, economic cooperation and engagement through multilateral platforms.

Both sides reiterated the importance of maintaining peace and stability along the Line of Actual Control and agreed to continue diplomatic and military-level communication.

The dialogue comes amid efforts by New Delhi and Beijing to stabilise relations following prolonged tensions. Observers noted that sustained diplomatic engagement remains key to managing differences between the two neighbours.
