As Bihar gears up for a high-voltage assembly election, the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) has unveiled a sweeping manifesto, pledging one crore government jobs, free education for all, and accelerated infrastructure development to transform the state’s future.
The manifesto, presented amid an atmosphere charged with anticipation, lays emphasis on economic revival, women empowerment, and youth welfare. “Every youth in Bihar deserves the opportunity to dream and the power to achieve,” declared a senior NDA leader during the release event, calling it a “roadmap for a new Bihar.”
The coalition has placed employment generation at the heart of its campaign, announcing the creation of one crore jobs across government departments and public projects. The plan also includes setting up new industrial hubs, tech parks, and start-up incubators to create a vibrant private sector that complements government hiring.
Education and healthcare find special mention in the manifesto. The NDA promised to make education free up to the post-graduation level for girls and economically weaker sections, alongside upgrading schools and colleges with digital infrastructure. Additionally, a major focus will be placed on skill-based education to prepare Bihar’s youth for global competitiveness.
In terms of infrastructure, the alliance vowed to connect every village with pucca roads, expand expressways, and improve power and irrigation facilities. The manifesto also outlines a push for clean drinking water projects, flood management systems, and better healthcare access in rural regions.
