The Patna Municipal Corporation (PMC) has proposed a budget of ₹2,980 crore for the upcoming financial year, with a major focus on urban beautification and infrastructure improvement.

The proposed budget includes plans for landscaping, modern street lighting, improved sanitation services and renovation of public spaces. Officials said special emphasis has been placed on strengthening waste management systems and enhancing road infrastructure to improve overall civic amenities.

Authorities believe the budget reflects a long-term vision to transform Patna into a cleaner and more organised urban centre. Civic officials added that funds will also be used for maintaining parks, upgrading drainage systems and improving basic services for residents.
