Aditya, son of social activist and RJD leader Rohini Acharya, is set to begin a two-year military training programme, a development that has drawn attention in political and social circles in Patna. The young aspirant is preparing to undergo rigorous training at a premier military institution, marking the start of his journey toward a career in the armed forces.

Family members said Aditya cleared the required selection process after months of preparation and will soon report to the training academy. The programme will include physical conditioning, discipline training, leadership development, tactical exercises and academic instruction, designed to prepare cadets for future responsibilities in defence services.

Former Bihar Chief Ministers Lalu Prasad Yadav and Rabri Devi expressed pride and encouragement, calling Aditya’s decision a reflection of dedication, discipline and service to the nation. Supporters and well-wishers said the move sends a positive message to youth, especially in Bihar, where interest in defence careers is steadily growing.

Rohini Acharya stated that her son’s choice to pursue military training reflects strong values of commitment and national duty. She added that the family stands firmly behind his decision and is confident he will face the demanding training with determination.

Local residents and party workers congratulated the family, noting that young people opting for armed forces training help strengthen the spirit of patriotism and responsibility in society. Aditya is expected to depart for training shortly, with the programme spanning two full years before further assessment and progression.
