To commemorate Veer Kunwar Singh's legacy, thousands tuned in to watch the Patna Air Show live. Patna Jet Show 2025 was inaugurated over the Ganga River and held along the JP Ganga Path. Two breathtaking aerial maneuvers impressed the sky during the Shaurya Diwas celebration.
The first round commenced at 10:00 AM, featuring nine Hawk-132 jets painting the sky with tricolor trails and executing synchronized loops and barrel rolls. The second round, starting at 11:30 AM, showcased advanced formations, including the 'Diamond' and 'Arrowhead,' leaving the audience in awe.
While the Indian Air Force's aerobatic team captivated the residents today, many viewers expressed dissatisfaction due to poor management at the Patna air show. The intense summer heat, with temperatures soaring up to 45°C, amplified the discomfort.
The air show was mesmerizing, but standing in the scorching sun without proper arrangements was challenging, said a local viewer who attended the event with his friends. While the district administration had announced provisions like German hangers and shaded areas, several spectators reported inadequate access to these facilities.
Traffic diversions were implemented to manage the large turnout, with JP Ganga Path closed to general traffic from 6:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
