Authorities have imposed traffic restrictions across key areas of Patna to facilitate smooth conduct of the Chaiti Chhath festival and ensure safety of devotees.
Officials said several routes have been diverted, and temporary road closures have been implemented near major ghats where large crowds are expected. Additional police personnel have been deployed to manage traffic and maintain law and order.
Civic authorities have also arranged facilities such as lighting, drinking water and medical assistance at important locations. Residents have been advised to avoid congested routes and follow traffic advisories issued by the administration.
The measures aim to ensure a safe and organised environment during one of the most significant religious events in the state.
